Things have been moving very fast!

Morocco has recently submitted the Autonomy Initiative to solve the Sahara issue, while preserving Moroccan Sovereignty. This was submitted to the UN last Wednesday and now is the most critical time.
President Bush has signaled that he supports the initiative and now is the time for Congress to commit as well.
We need to generate the strongest support possible by the U.S. for the Moroccan initiative. Now is the moment for every Moroccan American to call/write/ and fax their local Congressman in support of this historic initiative.

Every Member of Congress should support Morocco at this critical hour.
Here is a draft letter that concerned Moroccan-Americans can send to their respective Congressman or use as a talking points for a phone call.  Obviously everyone can change or edit the letter as they wish.
This letter from Congress to Bush will only be open for signatures until April 26th. This letter will be critical in consolidating the U.S. position and we hope that all Moroccan Americans can help out by sending letters or making calls to their representatives to support Morocco’s Sahara autonomy initiative.
