Moroccan Diva Karima Skalli performs in concert in Detroit, Michigan

Internationally renowned Moroccan Diva Karima Skalli and the 50 piece Mesto orchetra performed at the Detroit Max Fisher Music center for the Arab American National Museum 6th annual Gala.
Ms. Skali, a native of fes, Morocco gave a stellar performance of mostly classical Arabic music titles from artists such as smahan, farid al attrach, oum khaltoum, fairouz and others.

The MESTO: Multi-Ethnic Star Orchestra is made up of seasoned American professional musicians with diverse ethnic backgrounds conducted by maestro Nabil Salim Azzam, a talentad  conductor, composer and a versatile violonist and virtuoso oud instrumentalist.
Mr. Azzam has founded MESTO in 2001 to facilitate cultural tolerance and understanding between East and West through Music.
MoroccoBoard TV crew was on hand to record this special performance by a moroccan Artist.
