The precarious attitude of our officials (Moroccans) regarding the strategic dossiers of the country is flagrant and plain shameful. I hear about enemies of Morocco being honored in a country that we consider our friend, America should have been out of limits for the Polisario we read about them moving around the USA with senators and heavy weight politicians in their side and our diplomats are watching!

The education system failed to explain the political reality in Morocco, consider the fact that last elections less than ¼ of eligible voters actually voted, the 2007 legislative elections saw some of the lowest voter turnout in Moroccan history.

 Morocco celebrated on Monday, October 13th the national literacy day. In spite of Morocco's attempts to eradicate illiteracy, this cancer is still clinching on. Only half of all Moroccans are educated, in today's world this number is by far one of the worst.

As many others, I have been consumed with the Beijing Olympics this summer, and who can take his eyes of the screen when Michael Phelps single handedly took 7 gold medals and 6 world records and has his eye on the 8th gold medal with an unprecedented 15 gold medals around his neck especially if we consider the fact that he is only 23 years old?. The American patriotism and love for the game make Phelps seems less of a hero and more of a warrior doing his duty of defending the colors of America in the land of the dragon warriors, the sole adversaries capable of challenging the supremacy of the USA, China.
